Inventor Flint Lockwood dreams of discovering an idea that will change people's lives forever, and after several misguided attempts, he may just have done it. Flint has invented a machine that can turn water into delicious food, and, when his first demonstration accidentally sends the machine shooting into the clouds, cheeseburgers begin raining down from the sky.
