Field Cate
American actor Field Cate has been performing on stage and on the screen from a very early age and is best known for his role as Young Ned on the show "Pushing Daisies." Cate comes from a show business family, with a great-grandmother who was the original voice of Minnie Mouse and a great-aunt--Esther Ralston--of silent films, who has a star on the Walk of Fame. He appeared in improv comedy troupes and starred in several commercials before making his screen debut as a seven-year-old in the daytime drama, "Passions," in 2004. He had a supporting role in the 2006 drama, "Chloe's Prayer," and made a guest appearance on the crime drama, "Without a Trace," in 2006 before landing his role on the fantasy show, "Pushing Daisies," in 2007. He has also provided voices for the children's videos, "Space Buddies," and, "Santa Buddies," and in 2010 had a recurring role on the soap, "The Young and the Restless."
