Peter Wight

Peter Wight was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Wight kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the Joan Collins drama "The B*tch" (1979), the comedy "Meantime" (1983) with Marion Bailey and the Julie Walters comedy "Personal Services" (1987). He also appeared in "Naked" (1993) with David Thewlis, "Secrets & Lies" (1996) with Timothy Spall and "Fairytale - A True Story" (1997). His film career continued throughout the nineties and the early 2000s in productions like the dramatic sports film "Shiner" (2001) with Michael Caine, "Lucky Break" (2002) and the Edward Furlong thriller "Three Blind Mice" (2003). Recently, he tackled roles in "Babel" (2006), the Jim Broadbent action picture "Hot Fuzz" (2007) and the dramatic adaptation "Atonement" (2007) with James McAvoy. He also appeared in the drama "Cass" (2008) with Gavin Brocker and the foreign "Another Year" (2010) with Jim Broadbent. Most recently, Wight acted in "Mr. Turner" (2014) with Timothy Spall.
