The Ross kids arrive at camp where owner Gladys is scarier than the creature rumoured to stalk the grounds. She's out to get them because of her decades-old rivalry with their mum.

Ravi becomes suspicious when he overhears Xander's plans for his first date with Emma. Meanwhile, Zuri and Jorge set up a secret business selling candy and video games to the campers.

Emma and Zuri won't stop fighting, so Lou sends them out in a canoe in the middle of the lake to work out their differences.

Emma and Xander lose the camp spirit stick, which curses the campers with bad luck. Meanwhile, Jorge and Tiffany try to teach Ravi how to swim.

Xander and Emma team up for a fishing competition, but find out that they have little in common. Tiffany and Zuri plot to steal fish from the mess hall to use for the competition.

Zuri secretly keeps her cell phone beyond the allotted time, so Hazel and Lou conduct a camp-wide search.
