Gordon Ramsay and Mary Portas lead two teams of celebrities who lend their talents to a hotel for a week to raise money for charity. Gordon runs the restaurant, supported by Gok Wan (bar and events), Phil Spencer (maitre d') and Dr Christian Jessen (head of the gym). Mary is in charge of hospitality, joined by Kim Woodburn (housekeeping), Kirstie Allsopp (concierge) and Katie Piper (spa). In addition, each team is staffed with unemployed people working as trainees. At week's end, presenter Paddy McGuinness announces the team that has earned the most money for charity, and the trainees who have managed to secure full-time jobs.
