Shindou Yuu, Hakozaki Kusue and Yotsuya Yuusuke suddenly find themselves in another world as an adventuring party with zero combat experience and must defeat a powerful troll.

Shindo and Hakozaki are eaten by a troll and can't be revived. In the midst of fighting alone, Yotsuya is upgraded to a new job class: Chef. He uses his new skills to save the two girls, and the three of them finally defeat the troll. Their reward for completing the quest is a glimpse of what the world will look like after they complete all ten quests. When Yotsuya sees the scene, a thought comes to him.

Yotsuya is given a mission by the Game Master to hit on a certain girl, and sneaks into the girls' restroom of a high school and saves Yuka Tokitate from being bullied by her classmates. Tokitate turns out to be the fourth member in his party. Tokitate, who is summoned into the other world and swept away by it all, develops a deep admiration for Shindo, who is stronger and more beautiful, but Shindo also has a past that she can't tell anyone about.

The party heads for their next quest in the far western town of Radodorbo. However, Shindo is captured by bandits on the way. Hakozaki and Tokitate want to save her, but Yotsuya wants to hurry on. They decide to go their separate ways due to differences of opinion. Yotsuya then enters a martial art tournament in Cortonel in hopes of winning a horse, where he meets a female knight named Kahabell.

Yotsuya rescues the others with Kahabell's help. Kahabell agrees to accompany them to Radodorbo if she is allowed to train them in swordsmanship since they are the players who can't die. The party finds goblins along the way and engages them in battle. Hakozaki, who is a burden to the party due to her lack of strength and determination, finally makes up her mind and manages to slay a goblin on her own.

Yotsuya's party saves the people who were under attack by Kobolds. They are a squad of soldiers from the dictatorial Deokk Kingdom, transferring infidels. The purpose of the Deokk soldiers is to execute the infidels in Radodorbo. While the party is unable to understand the true meaning of the quest, they head to Radodorbo with the Deokk soldiers and the infidels.
