Sam returns to San Miniato with Emiko Davies to cook Ichigo Daifuku, a popular dessert featuring mochi dough and strawberries. The fruit in Japan is very special.

In Vincenza, Sam meets tea master Makiko Wakita and her assistants for a spring dive into a representative ceremony of Japanese culture. He also participates in the equally ancient and noble art of calligraphy, called Shodo, with Shohei Tsuru.

Once again in the company of Miyako Stella, Sam tells the story of a Japanese dish, Onigiri. Then, with the Italian-Japanese content creator Noelle Kondo, they move to the stove.
