On her mission to form a School Idol Club, Chika Takami searches for more members and someone who can help compose their songs.

Mari Ohara makes a deal with Chika and the others: if they can fill the school gym during their first performance, she'll approve their club despite their numbers.

Chika wants the first years Hanamaru and Ruby to join the School Idol Club, but they are both hesitant.

Yoshiko tries to suppress her alter ego, Yohane, but it's harder than expected. She comes across the School Idol Club whose members are trying to raise their ranking.

After finding out their school is at risk of closing due to low enrolment, the girls of Aqours decide to take action and find a way to promote the town and the school they love.
