Futaba Igarashi, an office worker, navigates work, life, and love while becoming closer to Harumi Takeda, a senior coworker who always annoys her.

It's almost Christmas; after much deliberation, Futaba decides to get Takeda a gift because he's always looking out for her, but finding the right time to give it to him is another matter.

While Igarashi is sick, Takeda gets groceries, cooks food for her, and leaves after she falls asleep. After Igarashi recovers, she helps Takeda get a smartphone.

Takeda asks Igarashi to have ramen together after work. Igarashi makes green tea chocolate for Takeda. Kazama misunderstands that Sakurai is on a date with another man.

Harumi and Futaba turn out to have a shared birthday; Harumi ends up bonding with Futaba's grandfather; Harumi presents Futaba with something special on White Day.
