Prix de Lausanne

All the candidates for the Prix de Lausanne 2025 take to the stage this morning to parade in front of the cameras. A grand procession punctuated with classical dance lessons and coaching on contemporary variations.

Just after their arrival in Switzerland, the Prix de Lausanne candidates go straight into their first training sessions. Between warm-ups, classical and contemporary classes and rehearsals for the classical variations, the introduction gets off to a flying start.

Classical dance takes centre stage on this first afternoon of the 2025 edition of the Prix de Lausanne. Candidates aged 17 and 18 benefit from the instruction of Élisabeth Platel and Yoel Carreño, two exemplary teachers.

Young Prix de Lausanne dancers benefit from intensive coaching sessions to perfect their variations. These sessions are supervised by renowned experts like Monique Loudières and Federico Bonelli.

Two classes are lined up for this morning in Lausanne: Classical dance for all the boys and contemporary dance for the girls in Group A.

The last day before the Prix de Lausanne 2025 selections! In this final stretch, the boys jump from coaching sessions to contemporary dance classes, while the girls in Group B hone their classical variations.
