After accidentally breaking a statue of a kappa that serves as the guardian god of Asakusa, middle school students Kazuki, Toi, and Enta are transformed into kappas by Keppi, the prince of the Kappa Kingdom.

Three middle schoolers, Yasaka Kazuki, Kuji Toi and Jinnai Enta encounter Keppi of the Kappa Kingdom; the three are enlisted to fight kappa zombies.

Kazuki tries to make his kid brother happy, using any means possible.
EPISODE 3
I Want to Connect, but It's Not Meant to Be
Enta, who has a crush on Kazuki, wishes to earn a dish so that Kazuki will return to playing soccer with him.
EPISODE 4
I Want to Connect, but You're So Far Away
Kazuki asks for Toi's help to kidnap Sara and take her place during a meet-and-greet that Haruka plans to attend.
EPISODE 5
I Want to Connect, but I Can't Be Forgiven
Toi attempts to kidnap Sara, though she evades him by transforming into a kappa, exposing Kazuki's cross-dressing to his family.
EPISODE 6
I Want to Connect, so I'm Not Giving Up
Having failed to defeat the previous kappa zombie, the three are stuck as kappa; Reo and Mabu become more desperate for kappa zombies.
