The new doctor arrives at Cooper's Crossing and is immediately condemned by the locals as he is unable to rescue a boy. He struggles to be accepted in the local community.

Tom is still frustrated that the locals do not trust him. Baxter is trying to get Tom fired because he embarrassed him in front of the other employees. Harry hides his deteriorating health.
EPISODE 3

Episode 3

Harry holds a town meeting to convince local residents of Tom's worth. However, Tom thinks Harry has turned his back on him, and therefore resigns. When Tom travels to Sydney, Harry tries to convince him to return.
