Renn Woods

Renn Woods rose to fame as an actress, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of her Hollywood career. Woods's earliest roles were in film, including the Richard Pryor musical comedy "Car Wash" (1976), "Youngblood" (1978) with Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs and "A Perfect Couple" (1979). She also appeared in the Steve Martin comedy "The Jerk" (1979), the romantic fantasy "Xanadu" (1980) with Olivia Newton-John and the comedy "9 to 5" (1980) with Jane Fonda. She kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in "Penitentiary II" (1981), the Joe Morton sci-fi fantasy "The Brother From Another Planet" (1984) and the comedy "Beer" (1985) with Loretta Swit. She also appeared in "Walker" (1987) with Ed Harris. Woods also contributed music to the Jared Leto dramatic biopic "Prefontaine" (1997). Woods most recently acted in the Emily Rios drama "The Blue Hour" (2009).
