Saraswati reprimands the man hired for house decoration for not delivering as promised and cuts his payment, while Lakshmi threatens the cook for not following her instructions. When some ladies at the party try to taunt AJ, his three daughters-in-law, Saraswati, Lakshmi and Durga, defend him. Meanwhile, Guddan tries to catch a dog to return it to its owner, creating chaos in the area in the process. Durga informs AJ about the daughters-in-law's wish to have a mother-in-law, leaving him angry.

Akshat lays down seven heartless promises that his prospective wife must accept. Akshat misinterprets that Kaushalya is willing to walk on the shards of glass to prove her capability of becoming his wife, and accuses her of being a gold-digger. This infuriates Guddan and she slams the cake on Akshat's face. However, Kaushalya, on reaching back home, scolds Guddan for her behaviour and blames her for her mother's death. However, Revati supports Guddan.

Durga explains the need to have a mother-in-law to Saraswati and Lakshmi, who are venting out their frustration because of AJ's ways. In a freak accident, the three daughters-in-law fall off a cliff but manage to hang on to a tree branch. When the women shout for help, Guddan arrives at the place and manages to pull them up and saves their lives. Later, AJ confronts his family members for not getting the faulty doorbell repaired. Afterwards, Guddan meets AJ at a temple and irritates him again.

AJ eagerly waits for Antara's letter but receives Guddan's. Upon reading Guddan’s request to pay for the cake, AJ refuses, criticising the cake instead. Guddan claims the food of AJ's hotel is not good enough either. On her way out, Guddan bumps into Paulomi and accidentally exchanges her letter with Paulomi's. When AJ finds out about the mix-up, he follows Guddan and gets the letter back. Later, when AJ comes back home, he expresses his readiness to get married again.

At the temple, Guddan prays to Lord Krishna to help her clear an acting audition scheduled for the following day. She bumps into AJ and both have an argument. Later, Guddan reaches the location for Ramayan's audition and accidentally mixes up the signposts of 'Ramayan Audition' and 'Jindal's interview'. She walks in for 'Jindal's interview' assuming it to be the audition. When Durga shows AJ three photographs and asks him to choose one as his bride, he picks out Guddan's picture randomly.

Durga informs the other daughters-in-law about her plan to make AJ and Leela meet. However, Lakshmi schemes to replace Leela with Komal. Later, Durga calls Guddan and informs her that she has been selected, which Guddan misinterprets as being selected for the role of Sita for 'Ramayan'. AJ reprimands Kishore and Vardan for not depositing money in the bank. An angry Vardan retorts that AJ is not his dad. Later, Guddan meets the daughters-in-law at AJ's restaurant.
