Aqours gets ready for the regional preliminaries with some help from their friends.

Yoshiko stumbles upon a stray dog and asks Riko to take care of it. Despite her fear of dogs, both Riko and Yoshiko begin to grow attached to it.

Aqours successfully qualifies for the Love Live finals, but the school is still short of its target. Mari's father gives the girls until the following morning to fill the quota for the 100 prospective students.

The girls are invited to the Hokkaido Love Live regionals, at Hakodate. Saint Snow are also competing, but the performance does not go well for them.

As the rest of Aquors head home, Ruby stays behind in Hakodate with Hanamaru and Yoshiko. She prepares for Leah's concert.

As the new year begins, Leah and Sarah pay a visit to Uranohoshi to help Aquors prepare for the Love Live finals. Meanwhile, Mari is offered a job as the director of the newly merged school, but she is not too keen on it.
