Costanza
Costanza is a single mother in her thirties who has just moved from Messina to Verona with her six-year-old daughter, Flora, to work as a paleopathologist. Verona, however, is also the home of Flora’s father Marco, who doesn’t know he has a daughter. Costanza and Marco’s relationship was an intense but very brief affair, cut short by the discovery that he was engaged. Now the moment of revelation has arrived, and things are very complicated: Marco is about to get married, while Costanza has met the charming linguist Ludovico at work. Costanza must strike a difficult balance between her private life and a demanding and unusual job, where her colleagues can also be fierce rivals.
