The windstorm continues to blow through Seattle and the doctors are left scrambling to save their patients' lives, including Meredith who desperately needs to get to Cece for her heart transplant.

Meredith reaches out to Teddy and helps her talk through some of her personal struggles. Owen and Amelia hide out near Betty's school after she becomes a flight risk. Jo wants to get to work on the fellowship.

Although he enjoys spending time with Maggie, Jackson must focus on the groundbreaking surgery he has scheduled with Catherine and Richard. Meanwhile, Jo assists Bailey with a patient who used to be an astronaut.

Amelia, Koracick and DeLuca perform a risky procedure to remove a young patient's brain tumour, while Meredith and Jo work with different polymers to try to salvage their project submission. Richard's AA sponsor is admitted to Grey Sloan with a DNR.

While Meredith breaks a hospital record, the rest of the doctors are sent scrambling in the wake of a massive overdose within the community.

Meredith finds herself having to side with either Alex or DeLuca during a difficult situation, but she doesn't want to betray either of them.
