Jun Takanashi, master of a karate dojo, visited a local festival with his wife, journalist Aki, and their adopted son, Rina. The flames and cheers of the crowd drown out Aki's appearance. The police declared her death a suicide to the grieving Takanashi and Rina. In desperation, Takanashi closed the dojo, saying that he was not qualified to practice martial arts.
