Evan Roe

Born in Seattle, Evan Roe's interest in the stage began after his family moved to San Diego and he started playing roles in musical theater. He played in a number of productions, including in the California Youth Conservatory's 2012 production of "Big River," a musical adaptation of Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. The same year, Roe made his first onscreen appearance playing a bully in a guest role on "Jessie" (Disney Channel, 2011-15). In 2014, Roe's work life got a lot busier. He appeared in guest roles on "Sam & Cat" (Nickelodeon, 2013-14) and "Saint George" (FX, 2014), and in his first series regular role on "Madam Secretary" (ABC, 2014-). The series focused on Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord, played by Téa Leoni, who faces political and personal trials as, arguably, the most powerful woman in the world. Roe played Jason McCord, the youngest of her three children, and her only son. The young McCord did not make is mother's life any easier, as he was prone to annoying his older sisters (and anyone else around), which led to conflicts that could be beyond the depths of even the Secretary of State herself.
