All About Eve

Two very different women become each other’s biggest rivals in their professional and personal lives. Jin Sun Mi (Chae Rim) has had an upper middle-class upbringing by her widowed father, Mr. Jin (Hyun Seok), who owns a construction company. But life changes drastically for Sun Mi when one of her father’s workers dies in an accident while on the job. Mr. Jin takes in the man’s daughter, Heo Young Mi (Kim So Yeon), and supports her education out of a sense of duty. Young Mi at first befriends Sun Mi but soon begins to envy her comfortable lifestyle when she herself grew up in poverty, frequently abused by her father. Young Mi soon becomes Sun Mi’s biggest rival. They both become news anchors and Young Mi is determined to beat out Sun Mi for every job. Young Mi also steals away Sun Mi’s childhood friend and first love, Kim Woo Jin (Han Jae Suk). When Sun Mi begins to date Yoon Hyung Chul (Jang Dong Gun), one of the network’s top executives, Young Mi dumps Woo Jin and goes after Hyung Chul instead.
