Finn Wallace is assassinated, throwing the criminal ecosystem in London into chaos. Ed Dumani - Finn’s best friend and second-in-command – attempts to calm things down by calling a meeting with the leaders of the other gangs of London, reassuring them that business will continue as usual. But this fragile stability is quickly undermined by Finn’s son Sean, who makes it clear that he is prepared to do whatever it takes to find his father’s killer. Tensions continue to grow on the morning of Finn’s funeral, as everyone gathers to mourn. But when news spreads that the Albanians may have been behind the kidnapping of Finn’s driver, it’s up to low-level Wallace henchman Elliot Finch to track down the missing man before anyone else. Creating as much chaos as he prevents, Elliot is taken deeper and deeper into London’s murky underworld in search of his prize – and his bravery and ability don’t go unnoticed by Sean Wallace.

Meanwhile Luan travels to Nigeria, looking to complete a deal that will make him a far bigger player in London. And Marian investigates what her husband was up to in the months before his death.

After conducting an investigation into Elliot’s background, Ed lays out a test for Elliot that will show who he really is – and whether he is truly loyal to the Wallace Organisation. Elliot has no choice but to go along with Ed’s plan – but passing the test will take a terrible toll, both for Elliot and those caught up in the scheme. Meanwhile, Sean attempts to root out the rot at the heart of the two families. He knows he needs to make things right with Ed – and hatches a plan to bring everyone together. But Ed and Alex have been called elsewhere. Temptation and danger loom, as sinister figures set their sights on Alex. When Sean receives a call from Luan asking to meet, he’s dragged away from the safety of the family home. And with this, a dangerous foe smells an opportunity.
