Inspired by the calm voice that answered her call during a house fire as a child, Yuki Kasuhara (Nana Seino) makes a huge career change from a bank employee to an emergency dispatch operator, hoping to help save lives like her own was. Yuki's ability to think quickly under pressure makes her excellent at speaking with callers in stressful situations, allowing her to collect all of the information necessary to ensure that emergency services can be dispatched where they need to go. However, Yuki sometimes causes conflict in the department, as she is known to visit sites she's received calls from to check on the situation herself. Amidst constant high-pressure situations, Yuki and her team strive to help as many people as possible, no matter what comes their way.
