An attack that destroys the White House. A giant grasshopper that wreaks havoc on Jinbo-cho. These two events have much in common - specifically, a book that will send three agents of the British Library around the world to stop a deadly plot!

The Paper, Miss Deep and Drake Anderson travel to India to investigate the origin of the book, but are interrupted when another I-jin appears. Meanwhile, Joker is suspicious about one of his agents and asks Wendy to investigate; what she discovers shocks him.

After motives and true intentions have been revealed, the British Library races to save the world under international pressure. As the agents on board, The Paper and Drake Anderson encounter numerous enemies, both old and new.
