After coming to Korea from New York without telling anybody, Cha Chisoo meets Yang Eunbi while running from mysterious men in suits. The next day, Eunbi runs into Chisoo again at the university's festival.

Eunbi gets dumped by her boyfriend, whom she waited for during his military service. She narrows down potential candidates and realizes Chisoo is the ideal man. Eunbi decides to ask Chisoo out after meeting him at his school.

Eunbi reminds herself that she is a teacher while Chisoo is a student. However, Chisoo continues to blatantly flaunt his charms and his wealth. Eunbi tries to calm herself but ultimately explodes.

Eunbi's father passes away, and Eunbi is comforted by Kang-hyuk's presence. Concerned about Eunbi and Kang-hyuk's blooming relationship, Chisoo decides to attempt at consolation for the first time.

Eunbi wakes up to find a topless man in the house. He nonchalantly starts to talk about their marriage and Eunbi's late father's inheritance. Meanwhile, Chisoo cannot get Eunbi out of his head.

Eunbi and Kang-hyuk board a night train and decide to run Eunbi's Diner together. Chisoo appears in pajamas and slippers and starts to pester Eunbi and Kang-hyuk off the train.
