While Father Lee resists pressure to sell land to Hwang Cheol-beom, Hae-il tries his best to stay out of trouble; Gu Dae-yeong gets a new partner.

Angered by the false accusations against Father Lee, Hae-il takes matters into his own hands; Kyeong-seon refuses to reinvestigate.

With witnesses gone and zero help from Dae-yeong, the reinvestigation kicks off with a rocky start; Hae-il suspects Cheol-beom is interfering.

Cheol-beom's minions steal away the witnesses; Hae-il finds that Seo Seung-a is different from Dae-yeong; the church receives more bad news.
