The big play is coming up, but the boy in the lead role is scared; he makes a wish for the gymnasium to catch fire--and it does; when the play moves to be held in the old schoolhouse, the boy wishes to be injured--and he is.

While in the old schoolhouse, Satsuki hears a haunting melody drifting through the halls, the only trouble is the lack of a pianist; it seems that if Satsuki hears the melody a total of four times, she'll die.

The gang helps Keiichiro train for a sports festival at school; a mysterious boy shows up at the track, running alongside Keiichiro; despite the bonding between the two, it seems the new boy isn't quite alive.

Stories spread about something preying on children who are alone, and the gang gets scared; especially since their parents will be out for the night; a deadly ghost with a sickle in hand stalks Satsuki and her friends.
