The Miseducation of Cameron Post

SUNDANCE 2018: GRAND JURY PRIZE. A story that showcases and respects the vulnerability that accompanies the emergence of any young person's sexuality. It is hard enough to be a teenager; it is even worse when your family does not understand your choices. After being caught with another girl, Cameron is quickly shipped off to a conversion therapy center that treats teens struggling with same-sex attraction, as they call it. Stuck in an unusual setting, that subjects her to outlandish discipline, dubious methods, and Christian rock songs, but one that also provides her with an unlikely gay community, she is finally able to find her place among fellow outcasts.
