The Gazebo

Elliott Nash (Glenn Ford) is a television writer married to Broadway star Nell Nash (Debbie Reynolds) in this amusing black comedy based on the play by Alec Coppel. When a blackmailer shows up with pictures of an unclothed Nell, posed during her leaner days (financially, not physically), Elliott decides that murder is the only way to take care of the situation. Having shot the culprit, Elliot opts to hide the body where his new gazebo is to be placed, but it turns out that the actual blackmailer has been found dead somewhere else, leaving Elliott to wonder who he has buried in the backyard.
