The Cat and the Fiddle

Early Hollywood heartthrob Ramon Novarro stars as a dashing, young European composer whose way with women lands him in a desperate situation in the musical The Cat and the Fiddle. When Victor Florescu (Novarro--Ben-Hur) manages to drive away both his leading lady and leading man just before his first operetta opens, he must use desperate measures to woo Shirley Sheridan (Jeanette MacDonald--San Francisco) to star for him.
