Renowned trials rider Danny MacAskill returns to San Francisco, five years after plans to film there were derailed by a career-changing injury.

Some of the spots Danny wants to feature require permission to use. Even though he's been given permits, they come with a time limit, so the pressure's on to land his tricks as the clock ticks down.

Faced with riding along a tennis net, Danny remembers his training back home in his warehouse in Inverness, Scotland. Practice makes perfect… Or does it?

A productive day at San Francisco State University lifts Danny’s spirits, but after five years of planning, the crew visit the ‘golden jewels’ of the project and experience a crushing low.

After a troubling few days, the crew head to one of San Francisco's iconic steep streets, where Danny digs deep and looks to two high-consequence tricks to get the project back on track.

Danny's high-quality control raises a challenge as a second opportunity at Alcatraz hangs over him. Danny attempts to land a front flip for the big finale of the film.
