Anthony Simcoe

At six and a half feet tall, with his prominent brow, Australian Anthony Simcoe barely needs the latex make-up to transform himself into "Farscape's" Ka D'Argo. During the 1999 space adventure's four seasons, the volatile Luxan warrior was a fan favorite and his work was nominated for a Saturn Award in 2002. Simcoe received his dramatic training from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney and graduated with a specialized degree in actor training. Simcoe is dedicated to live theater in his native Sydney, where he has acted and directed extensively. He has done occasional TV work, appearing in shows when a tall goofy character is needed, making appearances in "The Lost World" in 2000, "BeastMaster" in 2001, and as the English biologist Richard Owen in 2009's "Darwin's Brave New World." For the big screen he has used his comic gifts in the popular Australian working class comedy "The Castle" and in the children's fantasy film "Nim's Island."
