Robert Ri'chard

A California native with Creole roots, Robert Ri'chard is a prolific actor who has appeared extensively on television and also in numerous films. Starting out as a child performer, Ri'chard was featured in guest spots on episodes of various 1990s TV shows, including the sitcom "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" and the cop series "Nash Bridges." In 1998, he joined the cast of the quirky television comedy "Cousin Skeeter," starring in all three seasons of the show, which focused on the puppet title character, whose voice was provided by Bill Bellamy. During this time, Ri'chard had a significant supporting role in the inner-city drama "Light It Up," his first feature film. He appeared in two more major movies in 2005--"Coach Carter," a basketball drama starring Samuel L. Jackson, and the horror remake "House of Wax"--while also a regular cast member of the sports-oriented sitcom "One on One," which aired for more than 100 episodes. Following a recurring role on the cult-favorite series "Veronica Mars," Ri'chard was featured in a guest stint on the Tyler Perry sitcom "Meet the Browns," and subsequently appeared in a number of movies, including "5th & Alameda," a Los Angeles-set crime drama starring Mario Van Peebles and Corey Sevier.
