America's Test Kitchen: The Next Generation

Eleven cooks are thrown into a media challenge; for the Test challenge, they prepare a dish that made them fall in love with cooking; at the end, one cook gets sent home.

Head judge Dan Souza is back with Morgan Bolling and Jeannie Mae hosts; the task examines the cooks' egg techniques; the test challenges the cooks to make comfort food with a twist; Bryan Ford joins the kitchen as the guest judge.

The cooks must stir together a 90-second solo demo with a blender and a mystery fruit or vegetable ingredient; they have 30 minutes to strategize on the best dish and presentation.

The eight remaining cooks are paired up to showcase their collaboration skills; they have 30 minutes to collaborate on a 90-second "how-to" demo for media challenge; they must get the most information across in a small amount of time.

Seven cooks remain and they have a mystery on their hands; the home cooks must create a dish from five mystery ingredients; Jeannie and Dan welcome Bryan Roof from "Cook's Country" to present his ingredients to one lucky individual.

For the Task, the cooks must transform popular main courses into bite-sized appetizers; for the Test challenge, the cooks are each given a specific holiday with significance to their family and must make a main dish and a side for that holiday.
