The Trial

Miguel Portillo, a single father in his fifties, has decided to quit his job as an insurance salesman to start a business with his brother, Joaquín, operating a small fleet of Ubers; so absorbed is Miguel in his new venture that he fails to realize his only daughter, 18-year-old Andrea, was sexually assaulted at a party thrown by students from the elite school he insisted she attend.

Andrea attempts to file a police report, but Huerta intimidates her, preventing her from completing her statement. Meanwhile, Carlos tries to ignore the situation, distancing himself from the consequences.

Miguel contacts Verónica, a journalist, and decides to go on the offensive against the Huerta family. Carlos begins to slip, making critical mistakes, while Andrea searches desperately for a way out.
