Headhunter Roger enters headhunting agency Alfa with a forged CV and a lot of guts. Wanting to impress the lovely Diana, he rents a flat he cannot afford.

When Roger turns down a candidate for a post as CEO, it affects everyone around him. His art-loving girlfriend Diana investigates what is going on with the painting Warrior.

Roger puts pressure on CEO Sander to find out who is after him, and why; when the body of Petter, former CEO of Njord Oil, is found, detective Julie goes on the hunt.

Kelly's criminal brothers come to her rescue. After Ove's attempt at revenge, they are hot on Ove and Roger's heels. Then, when the police show up, Roger takes a dangerous dive.

Diana hears the finer points of Ove's childhood at home; just when Roger wants to take his father to safety out of fear of Kelly's brothers, Ragnar's colleagues manage to find and kidnap Roger.

When Diana is besieged by Kelly's brothers, she demands the truth from Roger. Together with the also threatened Sander, the pair devise a plan.
