Ana de la Reguera

Ana de la Reguera made a name for herself south of the boarder as a frequent performer in telenovelas and feature films. She turned heads in 2003 for her portrayal of a conniving chica in "Ladies' Night," winning two awards including Favorite Actress from the Mexican MTV Movie Awards. De la Reguera made her North American debut in 2006, playing a nun in the Jack Black-in-spandex Mexican wrestling comedy, "Nacho Libre." Hollywood took notice, and de la Reguera later starred as a battered mistress in Kevin Smith's crime comedy "Cop Out." In the Spanish-language police drama "Backyard," she took the law into her own hands as an officer on the trail of a series of mysterious disappearances, and won an Imagen Award for Best Actress for her performance. In 2010, de la Reguera landed a recurring role in the pitch-dark cable baseball comedy "Eastbound and Down," playing the love interest of Danny McBride's alter-ego Kenny Powers. De la Reguera starred in her first number one blockbuster the following year: the summer sci-fi spectacular "Cowboys and Aliens." Directed by Jon Favreau of "Iron Man" fame, she played the wife of Sam Rockwell in a Wild West run rampant with ETs.
