Wulan is awakened by a loud noise on her roof, and the next morning, she finds a weasel carcass eaten away by maggots. This sequence of events marks the beginning of changes in the lives of Wulan and her family.

Bloody Anniversary

Mr Ahmad and Mrs Astuti's wedding anniversary is approaching, and Wulan plans to give them a gift and a lavish party. However, Wisnu does not feel up to it and is reluctant to help her.

Retribution

Ahmad is rushed to the hospital as his condition worsens. He even manages to regurgitate rusty nails in front of his family. The doctors find no explanation, which makes Wulan angry.

Signs

Ahmad opens a business in Banyuwangi. His business partner, Bondan, introduces him to his collaborator, Astuti, and feelings develop between the two; Wulan's entire family is in mourning over Ahmad's death.

The Uninvited Guests

Ms Rima gets treated for her cancer with chemotherapy. Unbeknownst to her, in Banyuwangi, Mr Ahmad is having an affair with Astuti; Wulan and Wisnu are concerned about the curse that has befallen Ms Astuti.

The Flower Withers

Reno's death affects Wulan since Ms Astuti has not yet recovered from the curse. After witnessing Harun's strange behaviour, Wisnu grows more convinced that the wizard cast the fatal spell on Mr Ahmad.
