Haruhiro awakens in a dark room, surrounded by people who have no memory of where they came from or how they got there; the darkness fades, a fantastic new world called "Grimgar" appears before them and their adventure begins.

Haruhiro, Manato, Yume, Shihoru, Ranta and Moguzo struggle to defeat monsters in the forest of Grimgar in order to earn a living as volunteer soldiers.

“Long Day of the Trainee Volunteer Soldier”
Haruhiro and the others may have found a monster they can beat and hope they'll finally be successful overtaking a monster.
EPISODE 3
“Are Goblin Pouches Filled with Our Dreams?”
Haruhiro and his party gradually become used to their new world as they hunt goblins. They enjoy their first earnings, even if they continue to struggle.
EPISODE 4
“Sky Dancing with Ash”
Haruhiro and the party are feeling stronger than ever after their training sessions, and Team Manato heads out to hunt three more goblins, but something unexpected changes everything.
EPISODE 5
“Crying Doesn't Mean You're Weak. Enduring Doesn't Mean You're Strong.”
The party deal with the death of a friend, as Haruhiro, Ranta and Moguzo head to Shelly's Tavern where a man named Kikkawa tells them there is a Priest that requires protection.
