Kuga moved to Tokyo to start a new life, but after finding a dead body in an elevator and having his sister blow up his apartment. The old life is hard to leave.

Utao can't control her Kakashi. Kyouhei takes her training out in the forest, and takes Hibino with her. Together they try and teach Utao. And then there's an explosion from across the river!

Aki is captured and taken back to the village. But on the way back, he escapes. Hibino takes Utao to the city, where she and Kukuri cause another panic. Meanwhile, the escaped Aki meets with Kyohei. And Kyojiro from the Hyuga family has come to capture him.

Kuuko is caught up in the fight between Koushiro and Aki. She drags the defeated Aki back to her house to ask him about the Kakashi. When Kyohei sees him there, Aki's words force him into showing his hidden anger to Hibino. As he chases after Aki, a boy appears who looks just like Utao...

With Kukuri damaged, Utao and Kuga have no choice but to return to the village. The mechanics of Kukuri has caught Hibino attention so she has asked to accompany them.

Kyohei takes Kukuri to the Utsuwashi, the clan that repairs the Kakashi. He finds that the Takemikazuchi has been sent their as well. Utao is told by the head of the Kuga clan that Kirio is her younger twin brother. Kirio, who was abused by the Hyuga clan, is taken in by Koushiro. Utao thinks about what she should do to be friends her younger brother.
