The story of a group of women whose stable, successful lives are suddenly shaken by the discovery of the remains of one of their high school classmates, who disappeared on a school trip to Mallorca 20 years earlier.

Rita returns to her hometown after many years and faces her past; police inspector Paula Ríos arrives in Mallorca to identify some mortal remains, which may belong to her sister, who went missing twenty-five years ago during her senior year trip.

The discovery of some mortal remains shocks the group; Lena begins to search for what happened; Paula starts investigating what transpired with her sister.

Guilt drives Rita to join Paula's investigation, at the risk of a confrontation with her friends, especially Candela.

Angela heads back to London; Paula continues to investigate; Rita and Candela get an opportunity to make up for lost time.

The uncovering of some photos leaves the group in shock; Rita once again ignores Candela's advice, putting their relationship in jeopardy.

The police close the case and Rita starts preparations to return to London. However, an unexpected police arrest and the discovery of new evidence prompt Rita to change her plans and set out to discover the truth.
