As a child, Alain Prost dreamt of becoming a professional football player. Until he discovered karting and then he rose through the ranks of automobile racing all the way to Formula Three.

Before he wins his first world championship, Prost deals with his team's indifference and the public's hatred. Thanks to his grandmother's help and his friendship with Niki Lauda, he perseveres and becomes his own man until his consecration in 1985.

1986 marked Alain Prost forever. While he won his second international title, this year also brought a personal crisis.

After his brother's death, Prost sought comfort in competition. He finds a reason to continue fighting: his new best enemy, Ayrton Senna.

The Senna-Prost rivalry reaches its peak during Alain Prost's last Formula One season, when he wins his fourth world title.

After winning his fourth world title in 1993, Prost retires from competition. Senna and Alain Prost struck up a new, unique friendship that lasts until 1994.
