High school student Yomogi Asanaka meets a mysterious young man named Gauma, who claims to be a kaiju user. When a kaiju attacks the city, Gauma summons giant robot Dynazenon and his classmates are caught up in the battle.
Gauma tells Yomogi, Yume, and Koyomi that Dynazenon chose them because of their aptitude, and they must begin training as the terrorist kaiju users will attack again.
The Kaiju Eugenicists ask Gauma to join them; Chise feels jealous; Yomogi, Yume, and Koyomi confront Gauma about his past.
Inamoto thinks Yomogi has a crush; Sizumu, a Kaiju Eugenicist, joins Yomogi and Yume by pretending to be a student and tells them about the kaiju.
Yomogi and Koyomi test combining Dynasoldier and Dynastriker together into Dynasoldier Striker during a training session; Yomogi and Yumi meet with Urita.
Yume is disturbed to hear rumours that Kano was being bullied by her classmates; Koyomi has drinks with Iwamoto and meets her husband.
