The Chopin Shorts is a collection of short films by award-winning animators. Each short is set to one of Chopin’s etudes, performed by star pianists from the Lang Lang Foundation. Fantasy Collection consists of: "Spirits of the Piano" (set to Opus 25. No. 4) is a 3D puppet animation. Weird and wonderful spirits bring the flying machine, which has crashed on the cliffs, back to life. "Night Island" (set to Opus 25. No. 10) is a startling night-time vision combining 2D animation in a 3D world. In a fierce storm a little girl is washed over-board while trying to rescue her cat, and finds herself in a magical underwater world, where she is befriended by cute fish, who turn nasty when she wants to leave their world. "Fantasia Duo Suo" (set to Opus 10. No.10) is a flash animation about a boy suffering from Minimal Brain Dysfunction (a condition causing involuntary movements) who tries to find his place in the immovably rigid world of 80’s China.
