Evelyn's husband Teddy is found dead in this spoof episode of CSI. The CSIs investigate the death, during which it is revealed Teddy and Courtney are frauds who were trying to steal money from both Charlie and Evelyn.

Evelyn gets a new boyfriend, Teddy, who bonds with Alan and Charlie by taking them to Las Vegas. Meanwhile, they both confront their feelings about their mother dating and the men coming in and out of their lives.

After suffering a minor heart attack, Alan is visited by Charlie's ghost while in the hospital.
