As a child, Rita suffers a heavy blow from her stepmother Carminha and sees her world turned upside down. Years later, in a quest for justice, she becomes Nina and returns determined to get her revenge on Carminha.

Episode 1
Soccer star Tufão proposes to Monalisa. Rita overhears a conversation and tries to warn Genésio about Carminha's plans, but her father won't listen. Tufão is involved in an accident and misunderstands Genésio's last wish.
EPISODE 302
Episode 2
Rita is sheltered by Batata and Lucinda at the landfill. Tufão and Monalisa's relationship suffers a setback, and they go their separate ways. Carminha discovers that she is carrying Max's child but uses the information to influence Tufão.
EPISODE 303
Episode 3
Muricy encourages Tufão to approach Carminha. Rita and Batata are getting very close. Monalisa is devastated to learn about Tifón and Carminha's relationship but decides to return to Rio. Carminha goes to the landfill to look for her son.

Episode 4
The years go by, Martin dies, and Rita – now Nina – returns to Brazil. Jorginho argues with Carminha and leaves the house. Nilo tells Lucinda that he knows Rita is back. Nina asks for an opportunity as a cook at Ivana’s house.

Episode 5
Ivana introduces Nina to the family, and everyone is delighted with her skills, except Carminha. Leleco saves Tessália from an ex-boyfriend. Nina and Jorginho meet, and she argues with Lucinda for hiding the fact that Batata was alive.
EPISODE 306
Episode 6
Nina is shaken by Jorginho's presence but ends up gaining Carminha's trust. Jorginho discovers a clue about Nina's past and decides to confront her and Lucinda about her real identity.
