Cameron Cuffe

Cameron Cuffe was a British actor who broke out in 2016 when he was cast in a recurring role in the British drama "The Halcyon" (ITV, 2017-). Born and raised in London, Cuffe always knew he wanted to be an actor. His love of performance began when he was just a teenager, and by the time he was of age to enter college, Cuffe decided to study drama at the Lir Academy in Dublin. While honing his craft at the Lir Academy, Cuffe appeared in numerous stage productions all throughout Ireland and Britain. He continued performing primarily as a stage actor upon graduation, but before long began auditioning for film and television roles. He nabbed a role in a short film called "Home Made" in 2015, playing the role of a Charity Man, all while continuing to audition for some of the biggest casting agents in London. Then in 2016 he landed a supporting role in the biographical drama "Florence Foster Jenkins." The film, about a quirky New York heiress who aspired to sing opera, starred Meryl Streep in the title role and was also helmed by the Oscar-nominated director Stephen Frears. Landing a part in the film put Cuffe on the radar of various casting agents, and before long he nabbed a recurring role on the ITV drama "The Halcyon." With his acting career already on the rise, 2016 was also the year Cuffe was cast in a bit part on the H.G. Wells-inspired TV series "Time After Time" (ABC 2017-), in addition to being cast in the pilot of Superman prequel "Krypton" (Syfy 2017-). Cuffe was cast as Seg-El, the grandfather of Superman, on the series.
