Unlike most young actors who get their break on kid-friendly programs and fail to transition away from them, Jillian Rose Reed managed to establish herself in a variety of locations on the television landscape early on. After launching her career with a background role in the perky Disney series "Zoey 101," she pulled a 180 with a small part in the racy Showtime dramedy "Hung" and a seven-episode stint on the marijuana-slinging dark comedy "Weeds." This unique and bold beginning to her career opened the door for supporting roles on established network sitcoms like "Community" and "The Middle." In 2011 she finally secured major screen time as Tamara "T" Kaplan, the main character's fickle best friend on the MTV series "Awkward. ."
