Crown Princess Gu Qing Yao's (Zhang Chu Han) wedding night nearly becomes a tragedy when assassin Shi Yi (Cui Yu Xin) suddenly attempts to kill the Crown Prince Ling Yu (Chen Ming Hao). However, in an unexpected turn of events, Qing Yao and Shi Yi end up swapping souls, making Ling Yu even more vulnerable than before. To protect her husband, Qing Yao must figure out how to outsmart Shi Yi while in the assassin's body. At the same time, Shi Yi struggles to accept his "new life," leading to an identity crisis. To both of their surprises, Qing Yao and Shi Yi uncover a conspiracy brewing within the palace – and it turns out that Ling Yu isn't as innocent as he seems.
