Princess Nine

Ryo has inherited her father's gift for pitching and plays on the local sandlot, striking out any challenger with ease, but one day two fools show up and challenge her to a match.

A mysterious boy enters the batter's cage, taking up the challenge against Ryo; the next day, Ryo is offered a scholarship for a prestigious girls' school.

Ryo gets to see Izumi play tennis for a while, but there are other important things on her mind, like her school interview.

Seira is a fiery redhead who used to be a great athlete, but now only plays in pool halls and street fights, so Coach Kido has been given an important mission to recruit her for Kisaragi.

Koharu lives in a quaint little village on the sea and once mastered the Wave Motion Swing; Ryo attempts to get her to join Kisaragi's team, but she's adamant that she won't play again.

Two new girls might join the team, one of whom is Mao, whose large figure makes her the perfect catcher, but she's too scared to catch the ball, and the other girl is Yoko, who is pretty, but has a resume that smells too weird to be true.
