S1, E1: Four couples in Australia are at a crossroads in their relationship and will get the chance to live with a stranger for two weeks, in an experimental marriage, to help determine if different traits and characteristics in a mate could make their marriage stronger. After revealing their plans to their shocked families and friends, they pack their bags, set some ground rules, dwell on their hopes and fears before emotional farewells and teary departures. Arriving in their new homes before their experimental partners arrive, the first of many surprises is revealed–there is only one bedroom, with only one bed!
